Thursday Jazz Concerts at Take 5 Jazz at Valley Brew
Valley Brew has teamed up with University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music to create a jazz club featuring Pacific’s award-winning jazz faculty and students, Pacific Jazz Ambassadors and guest artists. Head down to the Miracle Mile this Thursday to see Latin Jazz Sextet.

‘The Skin of Our Teeth’ at Stockton Civic Theatre
See “The Skin of Our Teeth,” Stockton Civic Theatre’s newest production, Friday through May 1. The Pulitzer prize-winning play is about the Antrobus family and how they must start over anew through the Ice Age, Noah’s flood and more. The show combines tragedy with comedy, wit, intelligence, and scenic surprise, the story is about fortitude and the fate of humanity in an ever-changing and uncertain world.
When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturdays; 2:30 p.m. Sundays through May 1 and 1 p.m. April 23.

‘Metamorphosis’ at San Joaquin Delta College
Dancers on two continents some 7,500 miles apart will perform together live as Delta’s dance program returns this week for its first in-person performance in two years.
The finale of “Metamorphosis” will feature Delta College dancers on the Atherton Auditorium stage in Stockton, while a live feed from Ghana on the screen behind them shows the Noyam African Dance Institute performing the same choreography in real time from Africa.

Admission: Free but donations are welcome, with goal to raise funds for Delta dance students to visit the west coast of Africa next summer.
